1. Introduction

Welcome to Understanding Big Behaviours.

This website is operated by Understanding Big Behaviours Pty Ltd (ABN 87 701 180 690), trading as Understanding Big Behaviours.

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of www.bigbehaviours.com.au and our educational products and services.

By using our website, registering for our training library or purchasing our products, you agree to these terms, subject to applicable law.

2. Products and Services

Understanding Big Behaviours provides educational resources including:

• Online training courses

• Digital printable resources

• Physical workbooks and printed materials

• Educational articles, videos and downloadable activities

Product descriptions, inclusions, pricing and access arrangements are provided on the relevant product pages.

3. Purchases and Payments

Prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD), unless otherwise stated.

Applicable taxes, shipping charges and other fees will be disclosed during checkout.

Payments are processed using Stripe, our third-party payment provider.

Purchases must be successfully processed before paid digital access is granted or physical products are dispatched.

Where an order cannot be fulfilled, we will contact the customer and provide an appropriate remedy, including a refund where required.

4. Online Training and Course Access

Our online training is delivered through our website using WordPress and LearnDash.

Course access is provided in accordance with the arrangements described at registration or purchase.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account details and passwords.

Accounts are intended for authorised users only and must not be shared unless the applicable course licence expressly permits this.

We may take reasonable steps to suspend or restrict accounts where there is suspected unauthorised use, security risk or a material breach of these terms.

Any such action will be subject to applicable contractual and consumer rights.

5. Copyright and Intellectual Property

All original Understanding Big Behaviours training content, workbooks, videos, illustrations, printable resources, graphics and written materials remain the intellectual property of Understanding Big Behaviours Pty Ltd or their respective rights holders.

Purchasing a product grants permission to use that product under its applicable licence. It does not transfer copyright ownership.

6. Product-Specific Licences

All Understanding Big Behaviours resources are protected by copyright and remain the intellectual property of Understanding Big Behaviours Pty Ltd.

Purchasing a resource grants the purchaser a licence to use that resource according to the licence type selected at checkout. It does not transfer ownership of the resource or its copyright.

By purchasing or downloading a resource, you agree to the following licence terms.

6.1 Individual Licence

An Individual Licence permits use by one person only (one parent, teacher, therapist, support worker or carer) in one home, classroom or therapy setting.

The resource is intended for use by the individual who purchased the licence and must not be shared with other individuals or organisations.

6.2 Multi Licence

A Multi Licence permits use by multiple staff members within the single school, centre or organisation that purchased the licence.

Resources may be shared internally with employees of that organisation only and must not be distributed outside the organisation.

A Multi Licence does not permit sharing between separate schools, centres, organisations or external professionals unless expressly authorised in writing by Understanding Big Behaviours.

6.3 Restrictions Applicable to All Licences

Regardless of the licence type purchased, resources must not be:

• Shared with colleagues, friends, other families or individuals outside the purchased licence.

• Uploaded to public websites, social media, file-sharing platforms or shared drives accessible to anyone outside the licensed individual or organisation.

• Edited, altered, stripped of branding or rebranded.

• Copied or duplicated for distribution beyond the purchased licence.

• Resold, redistributed or included in any other resource, product or training without prior written permission.

These restrictions apply to both Individual and Multi Licences, except where otherwise expressly authorised by Understanding Big Behaviours or permitted by applicable law.

6.4 Digital Download Limit

Each purchased digital resource licence includes three (3) digital downloads for each included resource.

The download limit applies to both Individual and Multi Licences unless otherwise stated on the relevant product page.

The download limit does not increase the number of authorised users or extend the permissions granted under the purchased licence.

6.5 Printing and Permitted Use

Resources may be downloaded and printed for use within the scope of the purchased licence.

An Individual Licence permits the licensed purchaser to use the resource in their own home, classroom or therapy setting.

A Multi Licence permits authorised staff members to use and print the resource within the purchasing school, centre or organisation.

Printing, copying or distributing resources beyond the scope of the purchased licence is not permitted unless authorised in writing or otherwise permitted by law.

6.6 Licence Breaches

Unauthorised sharing, reproduction, redistribution or commercial use of Understanding Big Behaviours resources may constitute a breach of these Terms & Conditions and applicable copyright laws.

Where a licence breach occurs, Understanding Big Behaviours reserves the right to take reasonable action, including restricting access to affected resources and pursuing available legal remedies, subject to applicable law.

If you are unsure which licence is appropriate for your needs, or would like permission to use resources beyond your purchased licence, please contact hello@bigbehaviours.com.au.

7. Educational Disclaimer

Our resources provide general educational information and are not a substitute for individualised professional advice.

They do not constitute medical, psychological, therapeutic or other clinical assessment, diagnosis or treatment.

Users should consult appropriately qualified professionals when making decisions about an individual’s health, development or support needs.

8. Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds are managed according to our Shipping & Returns Policy and applicable Australian Consumer Law.

Digital products, physical workbooks and printed resources are not eligible for change-of-mind refunds.

If your physical order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us with your order details and photographs of the issue and we will work with you to arrange a replacement or refund.

These arrangements do not limit statutory consumer guarantees.

9. Acceptable Use

Users agree not to:

• Access our website or accounts without authorisation.

• Interfere with website functionality or security.

• Upload or distribute malicious software.

• Use our content in ways that infringe intellectual property rights.

• Engage in fraudulent, unlawful or abusive activity.

10. Third-Party Platforms

Our website uses third-party technology providers, including WordPress, LearnDash, Stripe, Dubsado and Omnisend.

These providers support functions such as website operation, course delivery, payment processing and email communications.

Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

However, temporary interruptions may occur due to technical issues, maintenance or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where interruptions materially affect purchased services, we will consider appropriate remedies in accordance with applicable law.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Understanding Big Behaviours does not guarantee particular results from its educational materials and is not responsible for loss or damage resulting from misuse or inappropriate application of its resources.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights, remedies or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including under Australian Consumer Law.

13. Privacy and Communications

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Email communications may be delivered through Omnisend. Marketing communications will be sent in accordance with applicable Australian laws and may be unsubscribed from at any time.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions as our products, services or legal obligations change.

The current version will be available on our website.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights already acquired under an existing purchase or agreement.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia and applicable Commonwealth laws of Australia.

Nothing in this clause limits mandatory consumer rights or protections available under applicable law.
